'' hey girle waz up '' I heard a familiar voice say behind me
'' hey Brittany '' i said cheery. I was only that happy because my ex boyfriend wasn't here today. I always get sad when i see him
'' do u want to go to the mall with me, Courtney, DL, and Melissa? '' she asked
'' yeah sure just let me call my mom ''
'' k i'll be in the car ''
'' no please stay here '' i whined
'' fine ''
'' hey mom can i go to the mall with the girls( she always knows who the girls are because i hang out with the same ones everyday ) k .... thax ....... bye. yeah i can go ''
'' k lets go ''
''k'' i said practically being dragged. the mall was Brittany's and my favorite place to just hang out (and plus there are a lot of hott guys)
once we got there Melissa got a craving for ice cream, so we went to DQ
'' hey lookie ovea there '' Courtney said looking with that ya know "hott guy" look. we all turned and saw what i would say the hottest guys in the world.
'' ohhhhh their cute '' DL said
'' yeah i can't say i disagree '' Brittany said. she's always picky
'' well lets go sit by them '' Melissa said. she isn't what u would say as shy. nobody said anything cause they didn't want to look stupid
'' umm hey '' Melissa said being her outgoing self
'' hey '' the blond one said
'' what r ur guys names? '' asked the other blond
'' well i'm Melissa, they r DL, Courtney, Katie, and Brittany '' she said pointing to each one of us
'' oh kewl '' said the one with the kinda curly haired brunet
'' what r ur guys names '' I asked
'' I'm Matt, this is Jesse, Greg, Chris, and Frankie '' he said. i personally thought that Chris was the cutest, but i could tell that he was scamming on Melissa
'' hey '' they all said in unison. we all laughed. soon everybody was talking to someone. Melissa was talking to Matt and Chris :'( Brittany and i were talking to Frankie, and DL and Courtney were talking to Jesse and Greg. all i could think about was seeing Chris and Melissa hooking up.
'' Katie, Katie, come back to life '' Brittany said trying to get me back
'' ohh sorry '' i said
'' what were u looking at '' she asked curious
'' oh nobody '' i said looking down
'' what's wrong '' she asked with concern
'' nothing '' i said still looken down
'' oh come on i don't know u all that much but i can tell when something is wrong with someone '' Frankie said trying to get it out of me
'' oh i think i know what she is looking at '' Brittany said glaring at Chris

'' well ya but there is nothing i can do about it he like Melissa '' I said ready to cry but i don't cry over boys
'' do u want me to go to the bathroom with u '' Brittany said trying to make me feel better
'' no i'll go by my self '' i said getting up. when i was gone Brittany went ovea to Melissa and asked her '' '' do u like Chris? ''
'' well kinda but i think i like Matt the most '' she told me

'' because Katie is probably crying in the bathroom cause she knows that he likes u ''
'' ohh i kinda feel bad now ''
'' well there is nothing we can do about it now ''

meanwhile in the bathroom i sat just waiting to feel better. but it didn't come
'' hey r u goin to be ok '' Brittany said coming in the bathroom
'' yeah, I think so '' i said getting up
'' well at least it doesn't look like ur going to cry ''
'' yeah that's cause i wasn't''
back with everybody else
'' hey Chris can i talk to u '' Frankie said
'' yeah sure man ''
'' well do u like Melissa ''
'' well yeah she is cute if that's what u mean ''
'' oh because there is a girl in the bathroom that is very upset that u don't like her ''
'' and who is that ''

'' yeah when we were talking to her she was about to cry ovea it ''

'' oh well i think that Matt is going to hook up with her, I thought that Katie was hott but i didn't think that she liked me '' he said confused
'' well yeah she likes u a lot '' Frankie commented
'' she seemed more like Jesse's type ''
'' well she was kinda listening to u guys since u were only a table away and saw u flirting''
'' oh well here she comes i'll talk to her ''
'' k but don't mess it up ''

'' oh great there he is '' I said looking at him
'' well maybe he'll talk to u about it ''
'' but he likes Melissa why would he care bout me ''
'' hey Katie can I talk to u '' Chris said coming up to us
'' yeah sure i guess '' I said sadness still in my voice. we walked away from everybody and sat at a nearby bench
'' i'm sorry if i made u cry ''
'' i don't cry ovea guys, and it wasn't ur fault it was just what u thought '' I said avoiding his butiful eyes
'' i just think that Melissa is hott but she is too wild for me '' he said

'' I like u but i don't know u that well so i want to get to know u ''

'' when i first started talking to her ''
'' oh well it took u almost an hour to figure that u should probably talk to someone else ''
'' well i thought that u guys we're having fun with out me '' he said
'' oh, well didn't look very good for someone else to talk to cause i was just sitting there watching Brittany and Frankie flirt, I don't want ur pity '' i said getting up and going to tell Brittany that i was leaving. All Chris did was sit there.
'' Brittany i'm going home ''
'' I guess it didn't go that well '' she whispers to Frankie
'' how r u goin to get home '' Frankie asked me
'' I'm goin to take the bus '' i said walking away
'' wait can we talk about it ''
'' call me later and maybe i'll feel better '' I yelled back at her. I had to walk back by Chris to get out the door
'' Katie wait '' he yelled at me. all i did was walk past him. he got up and falowed me. and grabbed my arm.
'' let go of me '' i said in rage
'' why r u being this way? '' he asked me anger and confusion in his eyes
'' Cause u wouldn't of noticed me unless Frankie hadn't talked to u,'' his grip loosened on my arm.
'' see it's true u didn't even know i was there ''
'' no i knew u were there i was just shy ''
'' u were shy, well u didn't seem to shy when u were around Melissa ''
'' that's because Matt was with me ''
'' and Frankie would've been there if u would've at least made a effort to come talk to me'' I said looking deep into his eyes. i flung my arm out of his hand and walked out the door
'' man did he screw up '' Brittany said hearing the whole thing. I walked out the door and sat at the bus stop waiting for the bus. i just sat and thought about what had just happened when the worst thing that could've happened did.
'' hey Katie what's wrong '' it was Mike my ex boyfriend the one that i thought that i loved
'' oh nothing ''
'' well do u want to talk about it '' he said putting his hand in the back of my pants
'' nooo go away '' I said standing up and hurting his wrist
'' why what's the matter baby ''
'' oh don't give me that just get away from me u creep '' i said looking for the bus
'' why '' he said trying to feel me up
'' no get away from me '' i said as he jumped on top of me.
'' AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH HELP '' i screamed at the top of my lungs
'' get off her u asshole '' Chris said grapping him off of me
'' get lost we were just talking '' Mike said trying to cover it up
'' yeah u were, move on loser '' he said. he walked away
'' how did u know he was doin that to me '' i asked wondering why he came out side
'' well i was going to come out here to talk to u and when i saw u i knew that u didn't want him to do that to u ''
'' well it was kinda a give away that i was screaming ''
'' well yeah that too '' he said with a little laugh
'' well thax ''
'' no problem '' he said
'' i'm sorry i got so mad ''
'' it's ok i didn't show that i liked u by flirting with Melissa ''
'' well do u want to start fresh '' i asked standing up to see him
'' yeah i guess i could do that '' he said with a smile
